Built in 1985, it was designed by Mario Botta, undoubtedly one of the most famous Ticinese contemporary architects. Well known at an international level, Botta has worked in Seoul, Tokyo, San Francisco and Chambéry. Continuing along the Via Pretorio there is a building that houses the magistrate’s court. At the end of the street, there is the BSI Bank, another building designed by the famous Ticino’s architect Mario Botta.
In Via Balestra there is a building in Carrara white marble and Florentine brickwork; the bank was designed by the Ticinese architect Giampiero Camponovo.
