Lugano Festival is a high level musical event devoted to classical music.

Lugano Festival is organized by a foundation, whose aim is to foster the creation and management of an annual festival in Lugano, mainly dedicated to classical music and open to other artistic forms, so as to create a pole of cultural, tourist and economic attraction and to disseminate Lugano’s image on the international level.

Talented young players and renowned artists will alternately take the stage in duos, chamber groups and with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana to play rarely-performed compositions alongside masterpieces of the repertoire.
