Nature paths in Middle Capriasca are an opportunity to rediscover the natural landscape, the animal and vegetable world, the historical and cultural roots and the different living and working contexts of its inhabitants.
The trails are divided into 3 different itineraries:
- The first trail passes through villages, countryside and woods and really conveys the sense of the transformations that have occurred in time. Here, man has moulded his territory and the vegetation to meet his own particular requirements. This itinerary is 5.8 Km. long.
- The second trail, which is 3 km long, passes through woods and here nature really prevails.
- The third one includes two panoramic points, one to the North and one to the South. In these enchanting places body and mind can find peace and we can stop and meditate on the relationship that we had and continue to have with nature and the world. The trail is 2.2 Km long.
You can start the itineraries at the different points of departure that have been indicated with an “I”: here you’ll be able to park and read the information signs that indicate your position. Along the trail only the direction of the path is marked by the characteristic arrow on wooden stumps. A map, providing information and special features that we can recognize as we go along, is useful to stimulate our curiosity and imagination.
